Hello there! 💕 It’s been almost 4 months now, and we are still in Community Quarantine due to this pandemic. The world is facing a hard time fighting this unseen virus, but we must not lose hope for there’s a rainbow 🌈 always  after the rain! Above all, we have a Great God that is in control 🙏.   With the lockdowns going, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what to do during this pandemic; as a mom, as a wife or just simply as “ Myself ”. I want to do something meaningful; I want to end the fear, the anxiety, the boredom; I want to create something that will express myself. Way back 2019, after giving birth to my baby Brielle, I started filming myself, talking to my phone camera, recording stuff that I think I might use someday (the day I will do my own YT channel! Haha!). But I was not able to pursue it because of the following reasons: I am not ready, I have limited resources, I am not artistic, I am not “videogenic” and of course, I am busy attending to my newborn b...

Dream Big Dreams

I  heard this "Dream Big Dream" saying from Mr. Buster Moon, one of the main characters of the cartoon movie "Sing". I frequently watch this movie because of Brielle. She loves watching this movie because of the animals singing and dancing thingy. She dances and sings too whenever Meena (the elephant) sings "Don't you worry about a thing".  Photo Credit to wallpaperaccess.com I personally like this movie. I find this movie interesting and has a lot of life lessons to offer.  But I wanted to focus more on the main character, which is Mr. Moon.  He was a dreamer.  As early as six years old, he already knows the dream he wants, that is to have his own opera house. Fast forward... He did it.  He's able to fulfill His dream of having one.  But of course, life isn't a bed of roses. There will always be a point in your life that you will hit the rock bottom.  Just like what happened to Mr. Moon.  And here's another quotable quote from Mr. Moon: An...

Are you thirsty?

When do you feel thirsty the most? It can be when the sun is too high, so hot that you are feeling exhausted. When you overwork your body and makes you dehydrated.  Let us look on Psalm 63. It tells us about how thirsty David was. See verse 1: "You, God, are my God,      earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you,      my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land      where there is no water." If you will read the first chapters, David was distressed of his enemy, fighting in the battle. In the same manner, we are also distressed by the enemy - the results of our personal failure. We thirst for different things: recognition, friends, a life-mate, a home, children, home church, an education, a job, money, gifts to serve our Lord, wisdom and courage. But most of all we thirst to love and be loved. Being thirsty of such things can really drain someone. It makes us feel insecure, it makes us feel distressed. It...

Unexplainable Strength 💪

In every situation or in our daily living, we are preoccupied of things we need to do, we need to accomplish. As soon as we wake up, things are lined up: prepare meals, wash the dishes, go to work, take care of your children, and so on. Oftentimes as we want to take care of everything and everyone, we become tired and weary to the point you neglect taking care of yourself. (Testimony time 🙂) Just last week, I felt this. My GERD (acid reflux) attacked again after 4 years. It was very disturbing as I cannot eat and breathe well, thus I lose weight immediately. In just a week, I weighed 44.5 kg . from 49. It really saddened me, since this was a result of my carelessness. Since I am breastfeeding, I eat more than usual. I eat everything, even the foods that should not be taken for the acidic people like me (chocolates, milk tea, iced tea, colas). I set aside the food restrictions for me. My mind is saying that it's okay. It's just a portion and it's not always, so you can ...

My Quarantine Birthday 💗

Thank God for another year!💗 This year has been a very challenging year to me, to us. A lot of things happened and is still happening (actually) that really makes me feel anxious. Anxious about many things, my family's health, our safety, our future. I know you feel the same way too. But then again, everything happens for a reason. God allows it so what we can do is to rely on Him, put our full hope and trust in God. So even if my birthday was not the grandest, not the way I wanted to celebrate it, still, I want to thank God for giving me this day. Another year to be hopeful, another year to start anew! God made me realized that the best presents are not the material things, but the gifts that comes from Him. I am thanking God for my gifts: Gift of Life Life comes from God. My existence will not be possible without my Creator.  And yes! I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank you God! Gift of Family -> My husband Jez who's always there for me. My greatest fan & suppo...

When to say these words?

How often do you say thank you? What are the things or happenings in your life that you say thank you in return? To whom do you utter these precious words? Thank you seems an easy thing to say. We hear it from time to time and wherever we go (grocery, bookstore, office, school, etc.) people say this. It's actually a common phrase. Thank you for coming, for calling, for listening, for joining, for taking care of, for choosing, and many more. There are lots of reasons to say thank you. Even with kiddie videos, there are songs, teaching the kids to say thank you. "Thank you is what you say when someone does something nice for you today." - Eli Kids   "When you get something you want, what's the magic word? Hmmmm. Thank you, thank you, thank you." - Coco Melon (If you are a mom or certified Tita/Tito's of Manila, for sure you sing these songs while reading! Haha!) Actually, the reason why I am sharing this topic is because of the K-drama I  have ...

The day I officially became a Momma!

Hello there  💗 ! As I was playing with my baby Brielle today, I was reminded of the time I gave birth to her. It just came to my mind out of nowhere. Maybe because seeing how big she is now and the milestones she's showing us, I'm kinda amazed. How time flies really fast! And made me reminisce those days. A very roller coaster experience for a first time preggy wife. :) Brielle @ 13 months So lemme share you the painful (literally) but one of the happiest times of my life - giving birth to Brielle Margaux. I wanted to share this because I was not able to testify this in our church. I really wanted to, but no chance. So maybe, this is the right time. 😘 Disclaimer:  This may not be an interesting topic for you, but I want to share how God really blessed, protected and showed His love to us during that big day of mine. God plans everything. This is the first lesson I learned. We're told that my expected delivery will be on June 2 (that is when Brielle is just 5 mon...

What is Missing?

Prayer is an essential thing to people who believes in Jesus. It is our 24/7 connection with the Lord. Many refer prayer as our lifeline to heaven. We pray because we want to talk to God. During our childhood days, we often pray to ask God for something. For teens/youth, it's like talking to their best friend, telling God, everything they encountered and even praying for the so-called "the one" 😉. We pray to thank God for all the blessings we are receiving. But often times we pray to ask. We pray for our needs. We pray to ask guidance for all the decisions we need to make. We pray for good health and His protection.  Many of us wonder why our longstanding prayers seem "unanswered" that makes us think God is not hearing us. Sometimes there will come a point that we tend to stop praying for it, either you accept that you get a "NO" from God or you gets tired of praying. Questions keep running our head, bothers us, faith is being shaken that we often jum...
